They comprise a solution different from the traditional threaded ones. They are also manufactured in malleable cast iron, but with double galvanization, and join are joined to steel pipes (*) with plain ends, without requiring tapping, grooving and welds. Therefore, they require less time in new installations, and also maintenance works in steel pipe sections, which would not have conditions to be repaired by using the traditional processes.
